I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from the Univ. of Wisc-Eau Claire and a Masters degree in marriage and family therapy from Loma Linda University. I've been licensed in the state of MN since 2002 with vast experience in the field of marriage and family therapy. In addition to having over 8 years experience in private practice, I have worked in community mental health/non profit agencies. I have an eclectic approach to therapy drawing from different techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems and relational life therapy. I've had extensive training with Terry Real and Lisa Merlo-Booth who are viewed as some of the top relationship experts.

Being married for over 15 years and having two kids, I understand the joys and struggles of relationships and parenting. I provide an open, supportive and confidential environment for clients to explore the issues bringing them in. My approach is straight forward, sometimes humorous, yet compassionate so to help you bring about the changes you are wanting.
